Kids Summer Movie Programs 2017

It’s hot outside, and you want to treat your kids to a few hours of fun without breaking the bank, right?  It might be 100 degrees outside this Summer, but for as little as $1 we can enjoy a kid friendly movie in a nice air conditioned theater for a few hours! Here are some of the national and regional Kids Summer Movie programs and details for 2017. I will update this list as I find more.

Admission to the Summer Movie Express is only $1. Tickets available for purchase at the box office and all movies start at 10:00 am. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Will Rogers Institute. Check here to see what date your local Regal theater is starting their Summer Movie Express.

All movies start at 10 AM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and are rated PG

The Summer Movie Clubhouse is a ten-week program of recently released G and PG films for kids. The cost is $1 per person per movie at the door the morning of the program. A ten-week series punch card is available at the theatre box office or online at Cinemark.com for $5, while supplies last, at participating theatres.

Savannah: Super Museum Sunday 2017

As a reminder, Sunday (2/5), is Super Museum Sunday! What is Super Museum Sunday? It’s where many historical institutions in our area open their doors for FREE! This is a great way for families to explore and learn together! Most of the sites will be participating between the hours of 12 pm and 4 pm. Pack a picnic lunch, get the family together and have fun! Old Fashioned Holiday Celebrations at State Parks

A Civil War Christmas at Pickett’s Mill

Pickett’s Mill Battlefield Historic Site – Dallas, GA

Gather the family and join us at our 1850s log cabin to help decorate the tree. Civil War soldiers will be home for the holidays. The cabin will be the setting as period reenactors demonstrate farm life, chores and celebrations of the period.
