Here are two more deals that my trusty assistant found yesterday while hunting down deals at Kroger. Here is how you can have an Italian dinner for under $1!! Almost everyone has pasta sauce on their shelves (especially with the deals we have had on them in recent weeks, this goes for vegetables as well). We are going to focus on the meat and pasta.
If you’ve attended one of my classes you know the price point on a few food staples like pasta. For pasta I say you should never pay more than $1 for a box of pasta (and that’s only if you do not have a sale that week and you really really need it) My personal price point is $0.50, so I was excited to see this deal:
Mega Deal Items (Buy any 5 participating items, Save $5 instantly)
Barilla Collezione Pasta, 12 oz: $2.19
$1.00/1 Barilla Collezione Product – 7-12-15 RP (Expires 09/06/15)
Note: Not every region got this coupon, however those did not get this coupon, almost all got the coupon for the deal below
Final Price: $0.19!!!
Now we need (in my best Italian accent) “some meatballs!”
(this picture made me giggle, sweetie next time open the freezer door when taking the picture)
Cooked Perfect Meatballs, 14 oz: $2.99
$1.00/1 Cooked Perfect Meatballs – 8-30-15 SS (Expires 10/31/15) 8-30-15 SS
$1.50/1 Cooked Perfect Meatballs – 8-30-15 SS (Expires 10/31/15) 8-30-15 SS
Final Price: $0.49
So using the pasta sauce and vegetables (and pasta for those regions that did not get the coupon listed in the first deal) that most people already have in their stockpile, add these two deals, and make homemade garlic bread by using a loaf of regular bread, and you have an Italian dinner for 4 for only $0.68!!!!!!
