Couponing Overseas: You Can Make A Difference

Couponing Overseas: You Can Make A Difference

Many of you know that our Military families are near and dear to my heart. Both my parents and my husbands father served in the Military, and my sisters husband is currently serving in our Armed Forces. I use funds I make from my website, to send coupon care packages to our Military families stationed overseas. Military families stationed overseas, are able to use manufacturer coupons up to 6 months past their expiration date.

I recently received an email from one of our “coupon fairies,” (always sending packages of coupons, for us to send to the Military families on our list):

“I don’t know if you remember how I ‘met’ you or not… I was reading All You magazine and saw your interview about ‘sending expired coupons overseas to the military.’ I’ve LOVED doing coupons and really got in to it with watching the TLC show.. I now have a coupon ‘class’ that meets twice a month and we put together the coupons I have sent you. I even have another of ‘my girls’ wanting to send them too.. With my class, we just get together and talk coupon, share information and any good bargains we may have found.Thank you for all you do Melissa and may the Lord richly bless you…”

Then I received this email recently from one of the families that received one of our packages:

This is what I mean by “Paying It Forward!” These expired coupons that are no use to us stateside, mean so much to Military families overseas! Thank you to all the readers who have, and continue to send coupons to be part of these coupon care packages! They are appreciated!

If you would like to be added to the list of families that I send these coupons to, use the contact tab to get me your information, including your full mailing address!
